The cats we grew up with were moggies and we loved them just the same. In time they died and we didn't know whether we wanted another cat or not. We thought of getting a cat or two from a cat shelter/rescue but never really did anything about it.  It was only talking to a work colleague who was telling me about their pedigree dogs that they breed and show, that it hit me I could do that with cats!  Because until then I had never really thought about a pedigree cat, let alone showing and breeding.

So next came the research to find the cat for us and then we found and fell in love with the Norwegian Forest Cat. The next step was to find a breeder who was close to us, and found John and Caroline Tipper (Tiganlea), who have been so helpful and supportive and helped us in all aspects of showing our cats and becoming breeders ourselves.

So now a couple of years later here we are, with 2 Norwegian cats of our own, a brother and sister, Imani, who is our neuter boy who has just become a premier and Isis who is our queen (and just had her first litter in October)
